My formal education includes degrees in Education (Grad. Dip) and Social Science (Master of Counselling). I taught in the tertiary sector for 20 years. I am a Professional member of Holistic Therapists Australia and you can read more about me on the Psychology Today counsellor listing page.

I’ve been a counsellor and trainer of counsellors since 2001. I also co-founded and hosted retreats for men for over a decade. I have learned a great deal from the fears and tears and joys and courage of others as well as from my own journey.

My book, The BIG Picture, Insights from the Spiritual World was published in 2012 with a Polish release, translated by Agnieszka Nawrotin in 2015. I had a blog at the Huffington Post until HP stopped adding new material.

I’m good at opening conversations and sensing where they need to go while remaining sensitive to your inner world.

Coming to a counsellor requires courage and the willingness to be vulnerable. That’s the same courage and will that can help us make real change. There are no guarantees but every step toward knowing yourself better and being known by someone else is a step forward.

If you are seeking one to one counselling, my studio in the Adelaide Hills is a space where you can talk, cry, laugh, shatter some myths about yourself and others, learn what’s important for you, set some goals, find some courage and confidence and begin to shape your world constructively.
